How long will my usage statistic files be kept on the server?

We guarantee that all files are kept on our servers for 90 days. However, there are some exceptions that are specific to each Preferred Stats Program and are indicated as follows:

MKSTATS v1.0/v2.3 - MKSTATS compiles statistical reports based on an ongoing file that stores all data from the beginning of the initial Preferred Stats Program setup. Therefore, if you choose MKSTATS to be your Preferred Stats Program you may capture data from the time you selected your program.

ANALOG v2.11 - Analog compiles site statistics for a 90 day sliding "window" of time. Furthermore, Analog compiles reports based on .gz files and we guarantee that the last 90 days of data will be accessible for your statistics.

For more information please see our support documentation on Usage Statistics

May I use my own scripts and what is the scope of technical support?

The ability to run custom scripts on your account allows you to add customized functionality to your web site. All of our hosting plans that include a unique IP address have the ability to run scripts. These scripts must be written in certain scripting languages and be stored in certain directories on the server. Our support covers the functionality of the software required to run the scripts but does not cover any design or programming issues. For more information, please read the FAQ on custom scripting

How do I set up an email account to forward to another account?

Email forwarding allows you to configure any particular email address at yourdomain.com to automatically forward to another valid Internet address. For example, you might want all email sent to president@yourdomain.com to forward to the email address of your company president.

Configuring e-mail forwarding for an address at yourdomain.com must be done by an Atlasta technician. Initial setup for your domain covers this procedure for the first 5 accounts.

How do I get FrontPage extensions installed on my website?

New Accounts

On the order form you will see a check box asking if you would like FrontPage extensions installed on your account. If you do then check the box and your FrontPage extensions will be installed during the activation of your account.

Existing Accounts

To have the FrontPage server extensions installed on your existing site, please send an email request to our Technical Support Desk with the following information:

    Your domain name
    Your User ID

Confirmation that you have back-up files of all web pages on the site at that time. In most cases you will not need to delete files that are currently on your site to install FP extensions. However, if there are directories or files with special permissions (.htaccess) these will have to be removed. You can then re-establish permissions and password protection by using FrontPage Explorer.

Installation will be complete within 24 hours.

Upgrade Information

All FrontPage extensions are running on FrontPage version 4.0.2.2717 or FrontPage 2000.
